ABOUT PETER MICKELSEN

Peter Mickelsen is a young American filmmaker working in Southern California. Originally from Canada, his work embodies a soft spoken nature coupled with a strong work ethic not common today. He got his start in film and commercial production in San Diego about six years ago. He has worked on productions ranging from local commercials for Mission Federal Credit Union to larger feature films. Peter has been the director of photography on over a dozen short films, features films, several local commercials, and a handful of web series; most notably a web series based on the wizarding world of Harry Potter. He shares his life with Deepti and two cats

Peter is also 1/4 of Bad Cat Films, a family-run production company based in San Diego. Bad Cat Films specializes in cameras, camera rigging, and post color services with the current inventory of a RED Raven and an Epic-W.
